Here we are in CHICAGO!!

So Mitch and i flew into Chicago last night! Our flight was delayed by four hours to due to heavy fog and bad weather at O'hare airport so rather than getting in at 5pm we didn't get in til 9pm! Luckily after getting a cab to our apartment we saw that 3 or 4 doors down was a big thai/chinese restaurant called Big bowl, so we grabbed some thai and it was AMAZING. Such a good find! Also, the apartment we are in here is incredible. I feel so lucky to get to stay in all these beautiful apartments while we're here.

We woke up late this morning after a nice sleep in and walked down the road to see what was close by to us, we stopped in at the Contemporary museum of art which was interesting but not as big as i thought! We then walked down to the grocery store and came back home to plan our adventure for tomorrow! We are gonna go buy a city pass which will allow us cheaper admission into the Art institute of chicago, the Field Museum, The skydeck at the Willis tower (sears tower), Shedd aquarium & the Adler Planetarium! I have also contacted my aunty who lives about an hour and a half away out of the city in Lake forest and we're gonna try and get out there to visit her!

It's so intensely cold and windy (obviously) here, averaging around 4-6 degrees celsius yet no snow! Haha. Definitely not used to it, but we are adapting and rugging up as much as possible!
